A new pretrial appearance is scheduled for William “Bill” Werneke in Montgomery County Pennsylvania Monday, February 6, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for the purpose of resolving outstanding issues, negotiate a plea or proceed to a hearing before Judge Smythe, according to a
spokesperson for the prosecutor.
Bill Werneke along with his wife Lisa, gave sworn testimony many times that they ”saw their friend sign a will” and signed the document as a witness of that signature. They swore an oath in deposition, at a hearing in Montgomery County Orphans Court as well as two sworn affidavits before a notary that were filed with the register of wills; “I saw him sign the will” they swore under oath.
When asked by attorney C. Scott Shields if they (Bill and Lisa Werneke) saw Ray Zachry take a pen in his hand and sign, they answered “yes”.
Now, both are defending their judgement to dishonor the person they claimed to be their friend, “he was like a brother” each claimed in court, but later admitted in a signed statement before an investigator that they gave false testimony.
The widow, Darlene Zachry probated the forged will in Montgomery County Pennsylvania knowing all of her late husbands estate was in Maryland. Do you suppose she was planning to purposely by-pass his family’s portion of his estate and preserve his assets that were still in his name only, all located in Cecil County, Maryland for herself?
The widow Zachry’s day in court will happen soon along with her sister Annetta Frackman, also a partner in this crime against Raymond Marc Zachry. Both also swore under oath many times they saw Ray Zachry sign a document they called a will.
May justice be served for Ray.
