Autopsy bill curbs public right to information
Published September 28, 2011. This bill is still working in the Pennsylvania legislature.
HARRISBURG ‘ A bill that denies public access to autopsy records in the possession of county coroners was on its way Tuesday to the full state Senate
An ongoing fight to cover up coroner and medical examiner incorrect cause of death or no death investigation is still a threat in Pennsylvania.
A better method of informing the family is with full disclosure. Why would the coroner feel it necessary to hide their work behind a law preventing the public from seeing the public record of their work?
If the family wishes to keep a death private – then they can petition to have the records sealed due to family concern. But that also should be with more than just a widow’s desire to hide a possible homicide.

It needs to be stopped in it’s tracks! This is pretty much saying “Hey we can be as corrupt as we please and everyone can kiss our ass” This bill cannot happen!

I have contacted PA and hopefully head off this once again. I think it is time to get a movement across the country before they do. Will get onto that. I am having eye surgery next week so I may be slow for a few days.
