This story has its merits in that social inequality does create crime. BUT – that inequality can’t be resolved by giving all that I work for to you…I can show you how to accumulate your own “things” but we have experienced what happens when people receive something for nothing…more crime to get more.
There is a responsibility to having “things” and that is supporting those things – paying taxes and upkeep on a home, car or family. That is where we have failed….responsibility reaps the benefit of having a good life, family and lots of things.
Work ethic has been relegated to history….only when that returns will we experience an elevation of society.

In the aftermath of the terrible shooting in Aurora CO, there have been several theories propounded as to the cause of violence and the solutions necessary to prevent future horrific events and senseless harming of innocence in this country. Theories and potential solutions that do not address the heart and mind are only stopgaps. Stopgaps won’t stop future violence, and it seems reactionary, remedial solutions and more laws and controls placed on the individual in society and the removal of more individual rights comprise most of those being propounded today.
