When you have walked a mile on my shoes, then you can tell me what to “feel”.

Memory Bears by Bonnie

At various times in our life, we can be bombarded with all sorts of information about situations: what to do…what not to do. Some information even tells you how to feel…and when to stop feeling that way.

When you are in doubt about what to do in a situation, it is best to follow your heart. Some may call it “your gut,” but to me, the heart just sounds better.

One of the most difficult situations is the loss of a loved one. More than any other time in life, this is the most trying. Information and advice seems to come from all directions. This input only adds to a very difficult time in your life.

During this time of loss and for whatever time thereafter, I have found that following your heart is the best and simplest way to deal with it. I have come to believe that your…

  3. Thank you for sharing. One of the statements that makes me so angry is when someone says “you don’t really feel that way.” I do feel that way, and it’s unfortunate that I trusted you with that feeling.

    • When my son Ray suddenly died and we discovered there were huge amounts of poison in his blood tox, I wanted to know how, why, what…and someone said to me I should just “get over it”.

My husband said to them, “when you have walked a mile in her shoes, then you can tell her what she should do”. I am still working to get the stubborn coroner to do an investigation

Love to you and God bless you. Thank you for your visit and comment.

there is more on Ray at a web site where I post court documents and reports. there is also a video interview regarding our search for truth. It is:

      • You are working so very hard to get justice for Ray. I admire how you blast thru brick walls to expose the wrong-doings. I was thinking about you and your story a few weeks ago when my ex-father-in-law died. The coroner was required to sign off on the body before it was cremated to ensure there was no wrong doing. I wondered if that was a trust-worthy signature. I don’t particularly care about that abusive old man, but corruption knows no bounds and it crossed my mind that his body could be going into that furnace with a few fewer parts. It was Miami, so it’s pretty likely it did.

        • You are probably correct in your assumption. No one has any oversight over the coroners – that is why the Montgomery County, PA coroner is behaving the way he is – because he can.
