You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found 
anywhere, at least in the way you imagine.
You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection. Before you can love anyone you must realize that you are the one you are searching for, you are the one that is deserving of your own love and own affection.
When we discover this, the love that is its companion, the love we then seek will come to us. This I learned a very long time ago while in my childhood.
